Corbin Bleu Talks Bullying with Glamoholic

Corbin Bleu is a teen sensation, and now he’s landing a hand to stop bullying.

The High School Musical actor dished on his ‘I Was Bullied’ Campaign, his time on Dancing with the Stars and how his family keeps him grounded.

Check out what he told Glamoholic below.

On his time on DWTS:
“It had definitely been a once in a lifetime experience. Just to have the opportunity to bring your ideas to life week after week in such a grand setting makes it all worth it. Plus I get to learn so many new forms of dance, which is one of the main reasons I joined in the first place. It takes a lot out of you, but you just have to remember that it’s temporary. If you make it to the end it’s only 3 months of a wild roller coaster!”

On his “I Was Bullied” campaign:
“You see way too many stories in the news of kids being bullied and it leading to tragic decisions. And these days with so many social media outlets cyber bullying is rampant. I just really wanted to be a part of a project that brought attention to bullying and opened doors showing those who have been bullied that they are not alone. I myself was bullied in school and the amount of kids that have gone through it is unacceptable.”

On his movie The Day I Died:
“It’s going to be a very real and raw depiction of a story we see in the news way too many times. We want it to show the consequences of bullying and both sides of the crossroads taken by the bullied. We really want it to be an inspiration to stand strong, because their lives are way more important than what their bully may make it seem.”

On having his family’s support:
“I was very lucky to have my parents to turn to for support. They set the foundation for me to always feel comfortable going to them with anything and always steered me in the right direction. So many kids don’t have that luxury. Even if they have parents who would guide them many of them don’t let anyone know they’re being bullied. That’s why it’s so important to blow the top off the world of bullying! We all need to rally together and let each other know we’re not alone! And we need to stand up for each other and let the bullies know they won’t be tolerated.

Paula Deen Turned Down ‘Dancing with the Stars’ Offer

Paula Deen has reportedly turned down an offer to participate on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars.

In the Aug. 19 issue of Us Weekly, a Dancing With the Stars source says the former Food Network star turned down an offer to compete on the ABC competition show.

“The dance floor is not the appropriate forum for her,” explains a Deen source.

But it seems as though she has some support from Dancing With the Stars co-host Tom Bergeron. “We’ve seen career resurgences after the show,” he tells Us. “People go, ‘I remember why I love that person!'”

Kendra Wilkinson Shows-Off New Bikini Bod Thanks To ‘DWTS’

Reality TV star Kendra Wilkinson got the boot from Dancing With The Stars, but she walked away with a whole new body. Wilkinson spoke with Life & Style magazine about her time on DWTS, dropping a few dress sizes, struggling with her weight and her husband Hank.

Kendra on how DWTS got her back in-shape:

“I feel like I look so much better than I used to!  I was a size 2 or 4 before Dancing With the Stars and now I’m a size 0. My waist is still shrinking! When you work out, you produce so much lactic acid, so my body always looks thicker and more muscular. Now that I’ve had a couple of weeks off, my body is fuller and looks better. I hope I’ll look like this forever. But to be honest, I will never be satisfied!”

Kendra on what keeps her fit:

“Ab Cuts and fruits and veggies are my answer,” Kendra explains. “When you’re eating bad, you end up getting bacteria overgrowth. When you eat well, your body naturally cleanses itself.”

The former Girl Next Door publicly struggled to reclaim her famous Playboy body following son Hank’s December 2009 birth where she gained 60 pounds of baby weight. Although she’s dropped the weight, it hasn’t stopped her from thinking about baby no. 2.

Kendra on gaining weight from pregnancy:

“I’m worried about gaining the weight back, but motherhood is worth it.”

Kendra on what will be different with her next pregnancy:

“I’ve learned my lesson with the first child. I’m determined to be healthier and treat my body better.”

Kendra on how Hank likes her new body:

“Hank loves my new bo. He says this is the most beautiful I’ve ever looked.  He’s ready [for another baby], but we’re just having fun being young parents to Hank for now.”
