Miley Cyrus Poses Topless on New Issue of “Rolling Stone” Magazine

Miley Cyrus goes topless on the new cover of Rolling Stone magazine.

In an article titled “Confessions of Pop’s Wildest Child,” Cyrus reveals why she doesn’t want to hang out with adults, the backlash following her VMAs performance and her new friendship with Kanye West.

On people with random tattoos:

“People get tattoos of the most fucked-up shit,” Miley says. “Did you know Alec Baldwin has Hannah Montana’s initials tattooed on him? No, wait – Stephen Baldwin. He said he was my biggest fan, and I told him my biggest fans have tattoos. So he got hm tattooed on his shoulder.” She shakes her head. “People do fucked-up shit.”

On her neighbors:

“Diddy’s baby mama lives right there,” Miley says, pointing over the fence behind her pool. And down the street is Steve Carell, who has two preteen kids and doesn’t sound like the biggest Miley fan. “He always gives me the stank-eye because I drive so fast,” Miley says. “The other day I was trying to reverse and I almost hit a thousand things, and I was getting nervous because I could see him going” – she crosses her arms and lets out a big, annoyed sigh. “I’m like, oh, my God, Dan in Real Life is watching me right now!”

On being surprised by her VMAs backlash:
“Honestly, that was our MTV version,” she says. “We could have even gone further, but we didn’t. I thought that’s what the VMAs were all about! It’s not the Grammys or the Oscars. You’re not supposed to show up in a gown, Vanna White-style” – a little dig at Taylor Swift. “It’s supposed to be fun!”
On not wanting to hang out with adults:
“I hung out with way too many adults when I was a kid,” she says. “So now I don’t want to hang out with any adults. I’ve already done all the hard work. Now I can kind of fuck off.”

On Detroit feeling like home:
“Detroit’s where I felt like I really grew up,” she says. “It was only for a summer, but that’s where I started going to clubs, where I got my first tattoo. Well, not my first tattoo, but my first without my mom’s consent. I got it on 8 Mile! I lied to the guy and told him I was 18. I got a heart on my finger and wore a Band-Aid for two months so my mom wouldn’t find out.”On her new-found friendship with Kanye West:

“He said, ‘I still can’t quit thinking about your performance,'” She continues, “I kind of have a good relationship with him now. It’s good to have someone you can call and be like, ‘Yo, do you think I should wear this?’ ‘Do you think I should go in the studio with this guy?’ ‘Do you think this is cool?’ That’s what homies are supposed to do.”

Aretha Franklin Gives Fantasia Barrino Some Advice

A few weeks ago Fantasia Barrino vocalized her thoughts on being “snubbed” from the Aretha Frankli Tribute at the Grammys.  Barrino felt as though she  should have been a part of the tribute, especially since Franklin is one of her idols. Various media outlets said that Fantasia, who won her first Grammy that night, protested the grammys due to the snub. Upon hearing about Fantasia’s “hurt feelings” The Queen of Soul AKA Aretha, offered some words of encouragement and advice for the American Idol Winner. Check out what she said below.

“I was sorry to hear that Fantasia was upset because she did not get the opportunity to participate in my Grammy Tribute this year. I recall that in the past, Fantasia participated in both my MusicCares Person of the Year Tribute and my United Negro College Fund Tribute. Fantasia is still young in the business and although we all love and appreciate her she must understand that in this business of show business she will not always get to participate in everything she would like participate in. I’m sure it was not an intentional omission. I will see Fantasia over the summer here in Detroit.”

Aretha Franklin: “The problem has been resolved”

Aretha Franklin is finally talking about her mystery illness. The singer sat down with Jet Magazine once again to speak about what has been going on with her health-wise.  Franklin knew something was off when she had a very hard pain in her side.

“I am not one to do a lot of talking about my personal health or business. Not too much, not too much. There are a lot of people who will talk about anything, as long as there is somebody listening. But I am not one of those people. That’s not Aretha.”
Franklin hasn’t addressed the pancreatic cancer rumors because she feels that her health is between her and her doctors solely. And that’s why she says she’s not discussing the news reports and rumors that she is battling pancreatic cancer.

“I am not going to even deal with that,” she states. “I don’t have to talk about my health with anybody other than my doctors. The problem has been resolved.”

The singer strongly encourages people to monitor their health. “If there is anything happening with you that is uncommon and something that you know should not be happening, go to your doctor. Be determined to find out what is going on.”
When Franklin first had the pain, she thought it was due to a colonoscopy she had.
“I had a colonoscopy and it showed nothing was wrong. I associated the pain in my side with the colonoscopy that I had within a day or two before. I got up at 2 o’clock in the morning and called the doctor who did the colonoscopy and told him what was happening. He said, ‘Miss Franklin, whatever it is, it is not from the colonoscopy. You need to come home and have a CAT-scan.’ Thank God he said that because that unfolded everything, what the problem was and everything.”

Finally Aretha reveals why she decided to speak out to her fans, “I know my fans are concerned. Let them know I am feeling great and coming along.”
She sends out a message of gratitude for her fans worldwide. “I want to thank my fans and friends and supporters who have prayed for me and sent me beautiful cards and flowers. Please continue to respect my privacy as I continue to recover.”
