Salma Hayek for InStyle Czech [September]



Salma Hayek is the September covergirl for InStyle Czech Republic.

The actress can currently be seen in the Adam Sandler film, Grown Ups 2. She is also billed to appear in the forthcoming Muppets film, Muppets Most Wanted, which hits theaters in spring 2014.

Katy Perry for Cosmopolitan South Africa [Aug]


Katy Perry sports a form-fitting green dress on the August cover of Cosmopolitan South Africa.

After wrapping up her vocal role  as Smurfette in Smurfs 2, Perry sat down with the magazine to chat about growing up in a strict religious home, following her calling and the responsibility of being a role model to  young women.

Chris Kelly of Rap Group ‘Kris Kross’ Dead at 34


Chris Kelly of the famed 1990s rap group, Kris Kross was found dead Wednesday evening at his home. He was 34.

Kelly (pictured above, left)  was discovered unresponsive at his home, according to the Fulton County Medical Examiner Betty Honey.

He was pronounced dead at Atlanta Medical Center – South Fulton a little after after 5 p.m.

The exact cause of death is not known at this time.

Christina Aguilera’s Cosmopolitan (South Africa) Jan. 2011 cover looks familiar


Christina Aguilera is pretty in pink. The “Bionic” singer covers the January 2011 issue of Cosmopolitan (South Africa).  Aguilera looks great, but there’s one teensy problem. The photo used for the Kan. ’11 cover of Cosmo Africa is the same photo from the 2008 issue of Us Weekly.

Unless Aguilera took part in the exact same photo shoot, looks like someone has some explaining to do.

Actress Kerry Washington covers the November issue of Essence Magazine. This issue, as you can see from the title, is devoted to race in America. Washington is one of the many individuals in this issue who have come forward to voice their opinion.  She looks fab! Almost like Wonder Woman here.
