Jordin Sparks Talks Album Delays & Frustrations

jordinsp24

It’s been almost five years since Jordin Sparks has released an album and the frustration has gotten to the starlet. During a recent interview with Huff Post Live, Sparks revealed that she has completed a full album, but she still hasn’t been able to release it.

When asked how long does it take to release an album, Sparks responded, “Thank you! Ask them,” and motioned off-screen to some unidentified people. “How long does it take?”

She even hinted at possibly releasing her music independently.

“I think I have a really amazing door that just opened up with hopefully being able to get an album out working with a person I really trust, and getting it out on my own,”

Though understandably frustrated, Sparks did keep her composure and offered some kind words about her label, RCA.

“They’ve done so many amazing things for me, so I don’t want this to come off like, I hate them, because I don’t,” she said. “It’s just — I’m a little bit frustrated because I really want to put this music out for my fans, and it’s really good.”

Check out Sparks’ sit-down below.

Nadya “Octomom” Suleman is currently under investigation for welfare fraud. The investigation comes  after investigators received a tip claiming the Suleman was collecting thousands of dollars in government assistance despite having grossed more than $200,000 last year.

Los Angeles County Department of Welfare Fraud Prevention and Investigation (WFP&I) is currently in the process of seizing bank records  from Suleman to determine whether or not she unlawfully collected welfare last year.

According to a warrant obtained by TMZ, officials plan to search both the home and office of her manager. Suleman faces up to three years in prison if she is prosecuted.

Even though the Octomom brought in income from doing porn and stripping, RadarOnline.com previously reported that she  received an estimated $60,000 in welfare benefits.

Suleman got off welfare in 2012 only to return to it in January 2013 following a rehab stint, reports ABC News.

“She spent most of her savings while she was in Chapman Treatment center, paying for around-the-clock nannies, drivers, security and her treatment program,” her former rep, Gina Rodriguez, told the network at the time. “She does not expect to be on longer than three months.”

When singer Wyclef Jean announced his plans to run for president of Haiti, many people cheered while others disapproved.

After looking at all of the candidates closely, the council decided to accept 19 candidates and reject 15 others. Wyclef Jean just so happen to be one of the 15 candidates that were rejected.  Ultimately, Jean did not meet the requirements to run for president of his home country. All candidates are required to have lived in Haiti for five years before the election. The “Gone Til November” singer has obviously been living in the United States for the past few years.

According to a The Huffington Post, here’s what Jean had to say about the ruling:

“Though I disagree with the ruling, I respectfully accept the committee’s final decision, and I urge my supporters to do the same.”

Well there you have it folks, the law is the law.
