Jay-Z and Beyonce are On The Run and starting their tour, with the same moniker, off with a bang!

The pair took over Cleveland on Wednesday (July 25). which also happened to be the first stop of their OTR II North American leg, performing at FirstEnergy Stadium.

The show features one of the largest stages ever for a concert tour, including two catwalks that extend deep in to the audience and a floating platform that goes over half the length of the stadium. The production is a celebration of love, family and culture, featuring a performance wall embedded within the massive screens, a 26-person vertical orchestra and 17 dancers.

So far, the feedback for the tour has been nothing short of amazing!!. News outlets like Billboard and ‘Rolling Stone’ have had nothing but positive things to say about The Carters’ second joint tour.

“Pop’s number-one power couple reaffirmed their dominance, and the strength of their bond, at a hits-packed, visually stunning show…” – Rolling Stone

“On The Run II delivers… without compromise to exquisite and devastating degrees.” – Billboard

Jay Pharoah: I Am A Dog (Kanye West “I Am A God” Parody)

jayp

Comedian and impersonator Jay Pharaoh has found a new way to imitiate Kanye West.

Pharaoh is known for his hilarious parodies of West on SNL, so it’s only fitting that he take things to the next level by re-creating one of the emcee’s songs.

In the video, the comedian dresses up like a dog and raps to a song called “I Am A Dog,” which is a play on West’s song, “I Am A god” from the Yeezus album. On top of writing hilarious lyrics as a dog, Pharaoh’s delivery shows that he’s a pretty good rapper.

The parody was written by Pharaoh, with Caroline Chewning serving as producer.

Jay-Z “Holy Grail” Ft. justin Timberlake [Music Video]

jayzmchg

Jay-Z has dropped the music video for his popular track, “Holy Grail,” featuring Justin TImberlake.

To the surprise of many, the video is pieced together different from the original song. The album version has Timberlake starting off the track, but in the video Jay-Z’s verse is positioned first.

Many thought the original song format made it seem like it was actually Timberlake’s song. Additionally, it appears as though Jay-Z decided to slow down certain parts of the song to match with the video.

“Holy Grail” is one of the many tracks off of Jay-Z’s new album, Magna Carta Holy Grail. Check it out below.

Miley Cyrus Recording “Black Skinhead” Remix with Kanye West?

mileycrwe

An unlikely pairing is rumored to be working on a song together.

According to Page Six, after her controversial performance at the 2013 MTV VMAs, Miley Cyrus went right into the studio with Kanye West to record a remix of his song “Black Skinhead,”

The publication is reporting that the “We Can’t Stop” singer skipped her own VMA after-party at No. 8 and went into the studio for what her reps are calling as a late-night, “top- secret” collaboration  with West.

It has also been said that West (who did not attend pal Jay-Z’s after party)  headed straight to the studio after the awards show.

If true, Cyrus will appear on the  remix of “Black Skinhead,” as a part of a remix EP that west will be releasing later this year.

West was supposed to perform the track at the VMAs, but changed his mind at the last minute and performed “Blood on the Leaves” instead.
