Some of the musicians set to perform for the 2014 Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest have been unveiled.
So far, Robin Thicke, Fall Out Boy, Jennifer Hudson, Jason Derulo, and Enrique Iglesias are set to perform, with more acts to be announced at a later date.
Jenny McCarthy will be serving as Seacrest’s co-host again, while Fergie will host things over on the West Coast party.
“As the New Year’s Rockin’ Eve legacy continues, it is an honor to be a part of the largest celebration of the year,” Fergie said in a statement. “I am excited to share the stage with so many global stars.”
Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve airs Tuesday, Dec. 31 @ 10PM on ABC!
Elisabeth Hasselbeck will make her debut on Fox & Friends on Monday, September 16.
Hasselbeck will join fellow co-hosts Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade, as they interview celebrities, politicians and other public figures alongside Doocy and Kilmade, who have been with the program since the 90s.
The Fox News channel show will also feature a re-designed set that morning as well.
“Elisabeth’s warm and engaging personality made her a star on The View,” said Fox News chairman and CEO Roger Ailes at the time of her hire. “She has proven to be an excellent conversationalist, and I am certain she will make a great addition to our already successful morning franchise.”
Hasselbeck left ABC’s The View, after being on the program for nearly 10-years. So far, Barbara Walters and Bill Geddie have no named a replacement. MTV’s Jenny McCarthy will replace Joy Behar, who left the ABC program in August.
Jenny McCarthy is reportedly in talks to join the cast of The View next season.
Since announcing her departure from the show, Joy Behar has been absent from the panel quite often, and the ABC talk show has had a series of guest co-hosts with one of them being McCarthy.
The former MTV host has been one of the few guest co-hosts to appear more than once in a given week and it seems as though the staff over at ABC adores her.
“The cast and crew get a kick out of Jenny,” a set source revealed to US Weekly. “She’s a good fit. She may not be able to carry a show, but she works well with a group ensemble.”
McCarthy is no stranger to hosting, as she has her own talk show on VH1 with comedian Michelle Buteau as her unofficial co-host. Both The View and The Jenny McCarthy show tape in NY, so it is quite possible for the blonde-bombshell to do both.
