Jonas Brothers’ Twitter Account Goes M.I.A.

jonasbros

The Jonas Brothers have shut down their Twitter account. This comes just days after the band decided to cancel their tour.

Since the tour cancellation announcement, the band’s page (@JonasBrothers)  had been inundated with a barrage of angry tweets from fans.

The band’s spokesperson, Jesse Derris, told PEOPLE exclusively last week that a “deep rift within the band” had developed over their musical direction. That tidbit and the account deactivation has fueled rumors that the trio –Kevin, 25, Joe, 24, and Nick, 21–could be calling it quits for good.

The brothers’ respective Twitter pages  – @nickjonas, @joejonas, and @kevinjonas – still remain active. none of the fellas have commented on the speculation.
