Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore covers the latest issue of Everything Girls Love (EGL) magazine.
Moore, who recently released a fitness DVD, covers the publication’s Fitness Issue. Inside, Moore speaks on personal friendships, if she agrees with hose she’s portrayed on Bravo, who helps her deal with negativity and much more.
On whether or not she is happy with how she was portrayed on the show
“It doesn’t show all of who I am. I have a lot of layers. When you’re watching a reality show you may shoot 1000 hours and it ends up being 45 mins items. With that you don’t necessarily get the full picture.”
On if she thinks reality television is a stepping stone for bigger things.
“Absolutely. Lets face it; Real Housewives put all of these other reality shows featuring all women cast on the map. They’re all a carbon copy of the Real Housewives franchise. The show is number one for a reason. It’s sustained its ratings. It’s wonderful entertainment because you get to see the lives of regular people that you can sort of identify with.”
On if the show has changed any of her personal relationships.
“My personal friendships haven’t hanged at all. I’ve always been a very strong person and I’ve always been sort of a maverick in my family. I’m very independent My family and friends have seen some of the harsh criticism and they’ve made sure to check on me more often. They rally around me just to make sure I’m dealing with it well, and I feel that I am.”
