Lea Michele fronts the Decemeber issue of ELLE magazine.
The GLEE star opens up about how she’s coping after the death of boyfriend Cory Monteith, hiding from the cameras and how Kate Hudson helped her maintain her privacy.
On getting through Cory’s passing:
“I never thought I would be in this position in my whole life. Now that I am in this position, you can choose to rise, and that’s what I’m going to try to do. I know that Cory would want nothing more than for me to take this situation and use it to help people.”
On Kate Hudson helping her following Cory Monteith’s death:
“I called [Kate Hudson] and said, ‘I don’t know where I’m going to go because my house is swarmed [with reporters].’ She was like, ‘Oh, you’re going to stay at my house.’ Like it was nothing. No one knew I was there. I’ll never really be able to thank her, truly, for what she did for me.”
On going away from the cameras:
“It’s very hard. And you have to be very strong to come out of this alive, but I think by doing the best for myself, by showing that you don’t have to lose yourself, maybe someone else will feel some sort of strength or comfort.”
GLEE fans better savor every bit of the show, because according to co-creator Ryan Murphy it will end after its sixth season.
Murphy revealed this news at an event honoring the FX Network on October 16. He revealed that the show will not go on beyond a sixth season and due to Cory Monteith’s death, the show will have an alternate ending from what he once envisioned.
“The final year of the show, which will be next year, was designed around Rachel and Cory/Finn’s story,” Murphy explained. “I always knew that, I always knew how it would end. I knew what the last show was, he was in it. I knew what the last line, she said it to him.”
He continued, “So when a tragedy like that happens you sort of have to pause and figure out what you want to do, so we’re figuring that out now.”
Make way for Dantana!
Naya Rivera posted a photo via her Instagram account of Demi Lovato and herself on the set of GLEE.
During a red carpet interview at the 2013 VMAs, Rivera revealed that Lovato would be her character’s love interest on the FOX series.
“She’s playing my love interest, so I’m very, very excited about that. We get to sing a song together. It’s gonna be good.”
No word on what Lovato’s character’s name will be, but underneath the photo Naya wrote “Dantana?” which is a combination of her character’s name (Santana) and Lovato’s first name.
Lovato will be playing a struggling New York artist, who also becomes friends with Rachel (Lea Michele). The X Factor judge will also share scenes with fellow guest-star, Adam Lambert.
Lovato will make her first appearance on the October 3 episode of GLEE.

Glee fans around the world are still shocked by the sudden death of Cory Monteith, 31. His Glee co-star,Jane Lynch, recently appeared on The Tonight show with Jay Leno. when asked to speak about the young actor, Lynch couldn’t help but get emotional.
“He was a really bright light in our family, and we’ve lost a really great guy,” the actress, 53, said of her Glee costar.
She added, “I don’t think he left one day unlived.”
When Leno asked Lynch how she would want people to remember Monteith, she replied,
“He once flew across the country on his own nickel to meet with a sick kid whose last wish was to meet him,” she said. “That’s the kind of guy he was. He was just a real giver.”
Authorities found that Monteith died from a combination of heroin and alcohol.
