Another popular 90s television series is rumored to be heading back to television.
The 90s series Full House could return in a sequel format centered around D.J. (Candace Cameron Bure) and Stephanie Tanner (Jodie Sweetin). If the concept becomes a reality, expect to see Jessie, Danny, Joey, and Aunt Becky as well.
The Newport Gazette, was the first news outlet to report the show’s possible return. The show’s creator, Jeff Franklin, let it slip that he had already started working on a sequel to the show. He also hinted that the majority of the cast had shown interest in reprising their roles.
He said, “Last month I was asked by ABC and [Warner Bros.] to write a new show for the Full House characters.” He continued, “Everyone I’ve spoken with were very open to the idea [of returning].”
This is by no means a confirmation that the show is indeed on its way to production, but there’s a huge possibility that it will. This news comes hot on the heels of the sequel to another 90s sitcom, Boy Meets World. The show’s sequel, Girl Meets World, hits television sometime in 2014.
Kimmy Gibbler and DJ Tanner are still friends after all these years.
Andrea Barber and Candace Cameron Bure were spotted at the New Kids On The Block NKOTB concert at the Staples Center on Friday (June 5) in California.
Bure tweeted that it was the “BEST NIGHT EVER!!” The pair posed with the band mates and some fans after the concert.
After the concert, band member Johnathan Knight tweeted that he’s had a crush on Bure since they were kids, to which Bure responded.
