Rihanna’s “Stay” Helps her Nab her 10th No. 1 Pop Hit
Rihanna is now the first artist in the 20-year history of Billboard’s Nielsen BDS-based Pop Songs radio airplay chart to reach 10 No. 1s. Her smash-hit “Stay“ featuring Mikky Ekko aided the singer in clenching her 10 Pop hit.
The previously titled was held by the singer’s BFF Katy Perry, who had nine No. 1s since launching her career in 2008.
The song that “Stay” dethrones Bruno Mars‘ “When I was Your Man,” which spent three weeks at No. 1.

Songstress Rihanna is officially the Queen of Pop. The singer currently holds the record for having more Pop No. 1s than any other female artist.
Rihanna’s song “Only Girl (In The World)” is slated to hit No. 1 this week and with that honor Rihanna will have scored seven Pop No. 1s on the chart’s.
Beyonce, Mariah Carey and Lady Gaga are all tied for second place with six No. 1 chart hits.
Rihanna’s other Pop No. 1 hits include: “SOS”, “Take A Bow”, “Disturbia” and “Rude Boy”.
Rih Rih is also featured on T.I.’s “Live Your Life” and Eminem’s “Love The Way You Lie”.
