Bruce Springsteen and former Pink Floyd singer-bassist Roger Waters are set to perform for the troops at the upcoming “Stand Up for Heroes” benefit this November.
The pair headlined last year’s event, and they’re back with a little help from comedian Jerry Seinfeld and “Stand Up for Heroes” veteran Jon Stewart, according to Variety. It’s yet another stop for the road warrior Springsteen, who recently confirmed a batch of gigs in Australia and New Zealand next year.
“Stand Up for Heroes” will take place November 6 at the Theater at Madison Square Garden. Tickets and more information are available at the event’s website.
Lady Gaga is always switching up her style. A few days ago, the “Born This Way” singer tweeted a picture of her new “monster” look. As you can see from the picture above, Gaga decided to dye her bangs black and keep the rest of her hair blonde. Not really a “new” look since gaga is naturally a brunette.
If you’re a Trey Songz fan then you already know about his Love Faces Tour. The tour, which oddly has four dates, is honor of Valentines Day. Songz will start the tour at Madison Square Garden in New York City and will end at The Chicago Theater on Valentines Day. The picture above is the official poster for the tour. The poster isn’t photoshopped to death, but it gets the job done.
Rapper Lil Wayne has approximately a month left to serve in prison. Unfortunately, the “Prom Queen” singer got into a little bit of trouble yesterday. In May, Wayne was found with a charger, some headphones and a watch that served as an MP3 player as well.
This time around brings about feelings of deja vu since Wayne was caught with a pair of headphones and a charger for an MP3 player. According to multiple sources, another inmate was said to be hiding the actual MP3 player. As a result of this infraction, Wayne was placed in solitary confinement.
Wayne’s release date, is tentatively scheduled for November 4. No word on whether or not this latest infraction will affect that date.
