Flavor Flav‘s Chicken and Ribs restaurant has been evicted from its home in Sterling Heights, Michigan.
According to TMZ, the signed eviction was attached to the restaurant’s door. This move comes after a lengthy legal battle between Flavor Flav’s business partners and the landlord who sued them earlier in June. The landlord moved to sue them after they allegedly stiffed the property owner out more than $20,000 in unpaid fees.
The police showed up on Thursday (June 20) to ask the staff to leave and change the locks on the doors.
Flav’s business associates claim they didn’t pay rent because of the janky heating unit on the property, which was allegedly spewing carbon monoxide.
Flavor Flav has not commented on the situation yet.
