American Music Awards – Full List of the 2015 Winners

744

The 2015 American Music Awards have come and gone, but JLo’s amazing opening number will be remembered for years to come. Lopez, who served as host, kicked off the show by dancing to a medley of songs nominated for awards.

The 46-year-old had no problem keeping up with her back-up dancers, as she danced to everyone from The Weeknd to Rihanna.

Another memorable performance of the night included Celine Dion’s moving tribute to Paris, where she belted out the Edith Piaf song “Hymne à L’Amour.” Meghan Trainor shocked fans when she made out with fellow singer, Charlie Puth at the end of their rendition of “Let’s Get it On,” by Marvin Gaye. The show wrapped with Justin Bieber doing three songs, with the last song, “Sorry,” calling for him to be soaked with buckets of water.

P!nk Covers September Issue of MARIE CLAIRE Australia

p!nkausmc

P!nk blazes the cover of  Marie Claire Australia.

The singer chats it up with Marie Claire Australia about parenthood and whether or not she wants more children. Check out some excerpts below.

On life before motherhood:
“It’s different. I used to stay up till 4 o’clock in the morning on the Internet, drinking wine, smoking cigarettes, wake up at noon, roll out of bed, got to the gym. Now it’s foot-on-face here, hot breath… it’s just awesome. It’s exhausting and it’s terrifying and it’s the best thing that has ever happened.”

On parenting ups and downs:
“When we got home from the hospital, Willow had a meltdown and I had a meltdown and it was like a mother-of-all meltdowns for both of us. Carey didn’t know who to comfort first. He was like, ‘arrrggggghhhhh.’ It’s like, ‘Wait you sound like her!’ Carey’s eyes were like saucers. He didn’t know what to do.”

On wanting more kids in the future:
“I don’t want to do the baby stuff five times, but the idea of, like, a holiday with five kids fighting and me just sitting at the head of the table cracking up, pouring more wine, I just love that idea. I love the idea of all the chaos.”

Marie Claire September Covergirl: Zooey Deschanel

Zooey Deschanel was photographed by Tesh for the September issue of Marie Claire!

In this issue, the actress gets candid about life lessons, her relationship and more. She even reveals why she never answers questions pertaining to if she wants kids or not. Check out some highlights below.

On her finance records being posted on the net after her divorce:
“Here’s the thing about that. It is the law that you provide financial records and they are public record. A lot of people said my lawyer made a mistake, and I want to say that my lawyer is a great lawyer, and he did not make a mistake. It felt weird, but I feel OK about how I’ve handles my finances. It felt like a violation, but once you get over it, you go, ‘Well, if it’s out there, it’s out there.'”

On what she learned  from being married and getting a divorce:
“I will say this: Whether you’re married or not, if you’re in a relationship, if you have to wake up every day and say, ‘I want to stay with this person.’ You have to take the commitment every day and every second and every minute.”

On her relationship:
“I will say we got the dogs together and he loves them very much.”

On having children:
“I’m not going to answer that question. I’m not mad at you for asking that question, but I’ve said it before: I don’t think people ask men those questions.”

Nicki Minaj Covers Marie Claire Magazine [August]

marieclaire-nickiminaj

Nicki Minaj talks love, motherhood and the future of her rap career in the August issue of Marie Claire magazine.

During this unique interview, Minaj not only answered questions from Marie Claires Amy Wallace, but she also answered plaguing questions directly tweeted from her fans. However, some of her fans aka Barbz, might not be to happy to read Minaj reveal her future rap plans in this interview. Check out some highlights from her interview when you read on.

On her desire to be a mom:

“I was praying every day, ‘You know what, Lord? I want to be a mom one day, and I want to start becoming the woman who I want to parent my child.’ I wanted all of the feelings of entitlement to leave me, because some people have this life for a year or five or 10 – and a lot of them lose it.

On her wigs and large-than-life style:

“That was a conscious attempt to “keep up a mystique,” she says.”The perception that people had of me completely changed because there are no cue cards, there’s no script, it wasn’t me performing a song. It was, ‘Let’s see your real personality,'” she says. “My core is a genuine human being who roots for other people. I didn’t want to blow smoke up their ass. I wanted every contestant to leave with something that they could remember.”

On answering her fans in regards to whether or not she has a secret man:

“Barbz, I officially hate you for doing this to this lady,” she tells them, leaning into my tape recorder. “Dear Barbz: I don’t have a man. And if he were a secret man, why would I reveal him?”

On releasing more albums:

“I at least want to do three more albums. If I can do that, I’ll feel complete,” she says.

On possibly leaving the rap industry:

“One day, when I start getting a couple gray hairs, maybe it will all be only acting. I just never know,” she says. For now, she has a lot going on—there’s also a clothing line launching in October at Kmart. “I’ve kind of become the poster child,” she says, “for doing the things that no one expects.”
