*NSYNC Reunion Sparks JC Chasez Comeback Rumor

*NSYNC stole the show at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards. Even though they only performed one song, fans were still excited to see the band back together. JC Chasez even had a shining moment as he was heard singing a riff and run as he exited the stage. And now that stolen moment could turn into something bigger.

According to Oh No They Didnt, an industry source says that  since the VMAs, Chasez’s camp has been inundated with calls about getting the singer back into the studio to record his own music or to partner up with other artists.

“Everyone saw that he can sing his ass off still, he looks great and he can dance,” the source says. “They remembered that he has an amazing voice, that he was ‘N Sync’s soul guy.”

Chasez released a solo album, Schizophrenia, back in 2004 but he never achieved the mainstream success that Justin Timberlake currently has. Chasez has spent a lot of time behind-the-scenes molding other artists, but fans want to hear music from his mouth.

“He has more music that he never released,” the source said.

Since his shift from boy-band to exec, Chasez has produced and written for artists such as David Archuleta, Backstreet Boys, and band McFly. He is currently working on launching the all-girl group, Girl Radical.

“Two minutes after seeing everybody you feel like no time has passed,” he said on Monday morning on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show. “Essentially everybody has remained the same. And again, we all see each other at different times, working on different things, but this is the first time that we had a rehearsal together in over 10 years. So everybody’s going, ‘Can we go through this slowly one more time?’

“That part was pretty funny,” he added, “But…30 minutes from the rehearsal, everything is memory, muscle memory, and everything started to click, and before you know it we were good to go.”

Justin Timberlake Pens Letter to Fans Following VMAs

Justin Timberlake stole the show at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards.

The event went from an award show, to a Justin Timberlake concert, as he performed a medley of songs before accepting the Michael Jackson Vanguard Award. He ended the night by accepting another Moon Man, but this time it was for “Video of the Year‘ for his powerful song “Mirrors.”

Following the show, Timberlake penned a letter, via his website,  informing fans that even though he’s releasing the last leg of The 20/20 Experience, he’s not done making music.

“The last time I wrote you an open letter, it was in January and I promised that it would be a “Big 2013.” Since then, from The Grammys to the release of the first part of The 20/20 Experience to the crowd’s response at the VMAs, it’s been a wild ride. I hope you’ve enjoyed it as much as I have.

This letter is to tell you that we’re not done…Not even close.”

N*SYNC to Perform at 2013 MTV Video Music Awards

The 2013 MTV VMAs will be a night to remember.

According to Page Six, 90s boy band N*SYNC will reunite for a special performance at the awards show on Aug. 25 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.

Justin Timberlake is already slated to perform, so a reunion would not be a farfetched concept. The “Take Back the Night” singer is also scheduled to receive the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. His bandmates – J.C. Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick– were all spotted in the singer’s VIP section at TImberlake‘s concert with Jay Z on August 16 at the Sun Life Stadium in Miami. This news has not been confirmed, but the group has not been seen out together publicly in years, so their appearance at the concert last week was a rare one.

Lance Bass Developing ‘Boy Band’ Competition

Lance Bass…Is that you?

Former N*SYNC member Lance Bass recently took part in a photo shoot and he’s hardly recognizable anymore. Looks like Bass went under the knife one too many times. He looks like a cross between a emo and a Grunge singer.
