Beyonce’s ‘Heat’ Becomes Best-Selling Celeb Fragrance

Beyonce’s  “Heat” perfume collection has just been named the best-selling celebrity fragrance brand worldwide. The “Bow Down” singer has released six scents since 2010, with the latest being a limited edition of Heat for her world tour, the
now available at Beyonce.com. .

The six scents are as follows: Heat Rush, Midnight Heat, Heat The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour Limited Edition, Pulse, Pulse NYC, Pulse Summer Edition. More information about each of these scents can be found at  www.beyonceparfums.com.

Rihanna’s ROGUE Perfume Unveiled

Details for Rihanna’s fourth fragrance, Rogue, have finally surfaced!

The singer promised the new fragrance would have a new look and scent, and that it does. The bottle is no longer an upside-down stiletto heel like her previous scents, instead Rihanna opted for a rectangular bottle. But the songstress did add a little bit of edge, by including upside-down spikes at the bottom of the bottle. The scent is described as a “flirty, sensual Oriental” blend of lemon blossom, cyclamen, jasmine, rose, plum and suede over a musky base of woods, patchouli, vanilla and amber.

To go alongside the release of the fragrance, a black & white photo of Rihanna will be used for advertising purposes. The campaign, much like the fragrance, will begin appearing in September. RihRih  was photographed by Mario Sorrenti and styled by Mel Ottenberg at Highline Stages for the photo, which can be seen in the gallery below.

“People are always changing and evolving and with Rogue I wanted to switch it up to reflect who I am today,” said Rihanna about the fragrance. “I made it for all women, for every mood, because we all want to project our true selves.”

The Rogue scent, will be available in September at Macy’s, Dillard’s and Belk.

Joe Jackson Promotes Michael Jackson-Branded Perfumes At Cannes, Scents Set For June 9 Launch

Joe Jackson has a new venture under his belt. There were talks of Joe Jackson releasing  Michael Jackson-branded perfumes and now that concept has been turned into a reality.

During a spur of the moment press conference for the Jackson Family Foundation, Joe Jackson sat around the pool at the  Playboy  Mansion to speak with the press. Jackson confirmed to a group of onlookers and photographers his endorsement of the new Michael Jackson-branded perfumes, Legend for men and Legacy for women.

The creators also came forward to speak about the scents, which will officially launch on June 9  in Las Vegas

Julian Rouas, who resides in Paris, was/is involved in creating the scents. No word on what the price of the scents will be.

Packaging for Rihanna’s fragrance ‘Reb’l Fleur’

 

Rihanna has finally revealed the packaging for her debut fragrance ‘Reb’l Fleur.’ Rihanna didn’t go the conventional route and have just the name of the fragrance on the box, instead she has a picture of herself on the box. The scent is slated to be released the US in 2011. Shortly after its US release, the fragrance will distributed internationally.
