2012- Tara Costa’s FB page.
Tara Costa, who competed on The Biggest Loser back in 2009, is being sued by a fitness company.
According to TMZ, FC Online Marketing — which owns ILoveKickboxing.com — filed a lawsuit against Costa claiming that they entered into a fitness promotional agreement with the former reality star, but she didn’t hold up her end of the bargain.
So how did Costa break her end of the deal?
FC Online Marketing says that Costa had re-gained “far too much weight” in 2011 to represent the brand publicly and in print.
The company says it paid Costa’s foundation $45,000 in exchange for her image and likeness . But since she gained some of the weight back, her image is no longer in-line with that of the company’s mission.
As a result, FCOM is suing Costa for breaching the don’t-get-fat agreement, and they are demanding unspecified damages.
After doing some research on Costa’s FB page (photo above), it looks like the former contestant is back in tip-top shape. Unfortunately, FCOM feels as though the damage is already done.
