‘Friday The 13th’ Franchise Returns in 2015


If you thought Jason and his dusty mask were gone, then you’d be wrong

A new Friday the 13th is on the horizon and it’s expected to hit theaters Friday, March 13 of 2015.

According to journalist Ryan Turek, the flick’s producers are said to be creating a story from a ‘found footage’ angle – similar to The Blair Witch Project where the action takes place through supposed amateur video.

The plot and intricate details of the movie have not been revealed. Rumor has it that Platinum Dunes will return as producer of the film.

“Seinfeld” Alum Nabs ‘Splinter’ Role in Michael Bay ‘Ninja Turtles’ Reboot



Michael Bay‘s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot has found its Master Splinter.

Danny Woodburn, best known for his role as ‘Mickey Abbott’ on Seinfeld, has been cast  as the reputable mentor to those gnarly turtles , according to Deadline.

Bay has already cast Megan Fox as ‘April O’Neil,’ Pete Ploszek will play ‘Leonardo,’ Jeremy Howard will play ‘Donatello,’ Noel Fisher will play ‘Michelangelo,’ and  Alan Ritchson,will take on the role of ‘Raphael’ in the live action/CG hybrid.

This reboot of TMNT is being directed by Jonathan Liebesman. Paramount is slated to release the flick June 6, 2014.
