Alicia Keys To Host the 2019 Grammy Awards


Alicia Keys has been tapped to host the 61st Annual Grammy Awards,

Keys shared the news with an Instagram Story video that contained a behind-the-scenes look into how this opportunity came to pass. The video, which is now gone, opened with when Keys received the phone call offering her the gig. The video also shows Keys sharing the news with husband, Swizz Beats, and her two kids.

The video wraps up with Keys detailing her excitement about accepting the position. “I know what it feels like to be on that stage, and I know what it feels like to be proud of the work that you’ve put in, and to be recognized for it,” Keys said. “I just feel grateful that I’m able to bring that light and that energy. This is a first – it’s a first, and it’s amazing, and I think it’s perfect timing. Honestly, I’m really excited, I feel really good about it, because I feel like it’s the perfect opportunity for me to give the light back, lift people up, especially all the young women that are nominated.”

Keys isn’t nominated for any Grammys this year, but she’s no novice to winning. To-date, she has won 15 Grammys. She won her last Grammy for Best R&B Album for Girl On Fire, in 2014

Rihanna to Receive ‘American Music Awards Icon Award’



Rihanna is making history all over the entertainment industry.

The singer will receive the first-ever Icon Award at the 2013 American Music Awards.

According to show’s producer Larry Klein, “The first-ever Icon Award was created to honor an artist whose body of work has made a profound influence over pop music on a global level. Rihanna’s iconic and innovative sound has enabled her to become one of the most influential and bestselling artists of all time.”

The 41st American Music Awards will be held on November 24, 2013 at the Nokia Theatre.

Rihanna & Britney Spears To Collaborate on “S&M” Remix



Rihanna and Britney Spears fans are finally getting what they want. Rihanna and Britney Spears will be doing a remix version of Ri Ri’s hit song “S&M.” Both ladies took to their respective Twitter accounts to announce the news.  This collabo is probably one of the most highly anticipated events since Lady gaga and Beyonce did “Telephone.”  They have a similar sound, so it should be good. Lady Gaga Accused of Stealing “Born This Way” from South Korean Group Girl

Who knew an inspiring song could cause so much trouble. Lady Gaga has now been accused of stealing “Born This Way” from a South Korean girl-group called Girl’s Generation. Gaga is facing plagiarism allegations from the Korean production duo E-Tribe. The duo have stated that they will question Gaga over the BTW’s resemblance to a track they produced called “Be Happy.” E-Tribe wrote the song for pop group SNSD AKA Girl’s Generation. New Music Video: Jennifer Lopez – On The Floor ft. Pitbull


On the Floor” is from Jennifer Lopez‘s seventh studio album, Love?. The track was  produced by RedOne, and features vocals from American rapper Pitbull. The song  samples of Kaoma’s 1989 single “Lambada”. Check out the official music video below.

Lady Gaga shows off her big bump

Lady Gaga sported a rather large hair bump as she walked through Vancouver International Airport. The “bad Romance” singer was dressed in all black from head-to-toe.  Being that she was boarding a place, she did have to remove her spike encrusted gloves.
