Scarlett Johansson Talks Relationships & Porn with MARIE CLAIRE UK

Scartlett Johansson isn’t shy and it shows.

The actress covers the newest issue of Marie Claire UK, where she talks about relationships and why women enjoy porn as well. Check out some of what she had to say below.

On her engagement announcement:
“My friend emailed me and said, ‘Wow, it’s so great that you’re about to go do this huge invasive press tour for 10 days. He said, ‘That won’t bring up every awkward question you don’t want to answer and won’t’ And I was like, you know, it is what it is.”

On her views on relationships:
“I can certain relate to this habit of wanting your partner to just kind of fit into this mold you’ve made for them. We do place pressure on somebody to just do it the way we think it should be done. It takes growth and searching to understand that it is the difference in relationships that enrich and strength the relationship, that helps us evolve as people and partners. I understand that conviction; I know that is something I am guilty of.”

On her thoughts about porn:
“I think porn like anything else, can be enjoyed. It can be productive for both men and women. If I found out my boyfriend watched that much porn I would be totally flabbergasted, for sure.”

Scarlett Johansson Named Esquire’s 2013 “Sexiest Woman Alive”

Scarlett Johansson has been named Esquire magazine’s ‘Sexiest woman Alive.”  The actress covers the magazine’s November 2013 issue. where she spoke about her career and fiancé Romain Dauriac. On not being a jealous person:

“I don’t think I was a jealous person,” she explained. “Until I started dating my current, my one-and-only, I think maybe in the past I didn’t have the same kind of investment. Not that I liked my partner less, I just wasn’t capable of it or caring that much.

On her career:

“You know, I gotta hustle. I’m a twenty-eight-year-old woman in the movie business, right? Pretty soon the roles you’re offered all become mothers.”  She added, “Then they just sort of stop. I have to hedge against that with work – theater, producing, this thing with Esquire. Sounds pretty bloodless, I guess.”

Scarlett Johansson Recreates Cinematic Icons For ‘W Magazine’

Marlene Dietrich

Scarlett Johansson unleashed her creative side for her new photo shoot with W magazine.

The portraits were shot by Tim Walker. The concept was developed last year while Scarlett was in France.

Instead of emulating your everyday run-of-the-mill stars, the idea was formed that Johansson would channel Marlene Dietrich, Sarah Bernhardt, Giulietta Masina in Fellini’s La Strada, and the aforementioned Keaton.

Scarlet is almost unrecognizable due to the superb execution of each icon. Take a  look at the photos below.

Ryan Reynolds Covers June ’11 Issue Of DETAILS Magazine

Actor Ryan Reynolds is finally opening up about the pain he endured as a result of his break-up from actress Scarlett Johannsson.  Reynolds discusses this information in the June 2011 issue of Details magazine, which Ran graces the sover of.

Check out some of the interview Ryan did with Details below.

On not settling on one genre of films: “I’m not declaring nothing, man! I’m getting away with something I’d like to continue getting away with.”

Joking about his dark side: “You want to see what I’m like when we turn the tape recorder off? I slit throats, that’s what I do. I only drink panda tears. Do not bring me water. Do not bring me filtered water. I want the tears of a newborn panda, and I will have them—because I’m Ryan Reynolds!”

On not sharing details of his divorce: “I’ll say this: the media was not invited to my marriage, and they’re definitely not invited into the divorce.”

Ryan on not wanting to get married again:

“But you come out of it. I’m not out of it yet. At all. But I sense that as I do come through it, there’s optimism,” he goes on. “How can there not be? I don’t think I want to get married again, but you always reevaluate these things. Any kind of crisis can be good. It wakes you up. I gotta say, I’m a different person than I was six months ago.”

Ryan on the media twisting things:

“What was happening privately was the exact opposite of what was being reported,” he says. “There was no story and no scandal, so the narrative was just created for me. That was the most disturbing part.”

Ryan on moving on after ending a relationship:

“Relationships ending move you from who you were to who you are at a much more accelerated rate than almost anything else on earth,” he says, adding that he and Johansson remain on good terms. “Departing a relationship and still maintaining the idea that this is still the same person I married is a great luxury that I experienced. Thankfully I was in a relationship where two people chose to remain on the high road in every regard.”

How the end of his marriage has changed him:

“You’ve got walls up in a way you didn’t before,” he tells Details. “But you’re also open to things in a way you weren’t before. I have no interest in dating right now. It just seems so kind of alien to me at this point.” In fact, he says, “I’m very happy not to be in a relationship right now. That’s OK. I didn’t plan on it, that’s for sure … but that’s OK.”

This issue of Details hits newsstands June 7.

Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson were never together

(October 10, 2009 - Photo by Photo Agency)

The picture above is of Ryan Reynolds and soon-to-be ex-wife Scarlett Johansson. This picture is dated October 2009 and just so happens to be one of the few pictures of the couple together. E! Online is reporting that the reason why the couple have decided to separate is due to them never having time for one another.
Here is what a source say to E! Online about the couple:
“They were together probably three months their entire marriage,” spills a source, who is not exactly over-exaggerating. “They just grew apart. It was never like ‘we want to split.’ But they just both gave in to the reality that they were never together.”

“Work never even allowed them to get a chance to spend enough time together,” adds the knowledgeable insider.

Apparently, the couple did try their hardest to make things work.
“Last year they spent a month in Europe and didn’t work the whole month,” said the source.

“It hasn’t been easy for either one of them,” emphasizes the pal. “They still care deeply about each other. It didn’t end on bad terms.”
