Britney Spears fans are ready for a new album!

A recent poll conducted at Billboard.com had fans voting for  the “Most Anticipated Event of 2013’s Second Half.”  Spears’ album clinched the No.1 spot, beating new music from Lady Gaga and Beyonce‘s ‘Mrs. Carter’ tour and  album.

Even though Spears has been spotted going to-and-from a recording studio, during an interview with Ryan Seacrest, the singer said fans can expect to hear her new music “by the end of the year,” but no  concrete album details were given.

And to hype up the anticipation even more, Spears shared a little insight on her new music with her Twitter fans.

“Really excited 2 give u a taste of my new album… can’t wait 2 share what I’ve been working on. Going to be my most personal album ever :)” she tweeted.

In the meantime, if you need a Britney Spears fix, her new song, off The Smurfs 2 soundtrack, “Ooh La La” is now available on iTunes.
