Tyra Banks goes goth for Issue 15 of Fault magazine.
Banks chatted with Fault about Cycle 20 of America’s Next Top Model, which hits the CW11 later this month. The upcoming season will be different from all the others because men will bee competing alongside the female contenders.
On the changes for Cycle 20:
“It is very exciting! It is our Anniversary 20th Cycle and we are featuring male and female models. So, aside from a whole new type of modeling from the men, there’s lots of love connection drama and edgy photo shoot themes.
It’s also really important to me to stay on the cutting edge of trends in photography and technology. In addition to still having ANTM fans as the fourth judge; we’re doing some exciting new things that fans will see during judging that will really wow them.”
On her many Tyra-isms:
‘Flawsome’ is embracing yourself and your uniqueness, flaws and all. It’s really cool to hear those words used so mainstream now. Look out for the newest catch phrase, inspired by the 20th Cycle of America’s Next Top Model: the ‘booch’ or ‘boy tooch.'”
“Fierce, flawsome, beauty and booty.”

Looks like Tyra is switching things up for the upcoming season of America’s Next Top Model. According to LosAngelesTimes.com, cycle 17 of ANTM will return to The CW with an All-Star edition.
Instead of bringing in a new set of models to compete, the upcoming season will feature some of the shews’ most memorable contestants as well as those who were deemed as “break out” models.
The names of the contestants, if they’ve even been picked, have not be released yet. Hopefully Tyra will have a season devoted to men at some point, because after this many cycles it was time to change things up a bit.
