In Case You Missed It: Amanda Bynes Pulls a ‘Cassie’

amandab

Amanda Bynes has opted to change her hair once again.

The actress posted a photo of herself  with half of her head shaved off.  Going by the photo caption, it seems as though the What I Like About You star got inspiration from R&B singer Cassie, who has been wearing her hair in the same style for a number of years now.

Even though it’s hard to tell how the style looks, due to Bynes’ hair being blonde, the actress looks like she’s in good spirits. There have been various reports that suggest Bynes is suffering from a mental illness. She has since denied those reports.

One could assume that Bynes shaved her head, so blogs and magazine would stop using the bizarre photos that have surfaced on the web as of late.

Rihanna Covers Fabulous Magazine

Rihanna is featured on yet another magazine cover. This time around,  the “S&M” singer  graces the cover of   Fabulous magazine – a UK-based magazine which will feature RihRih next month.  During the interview, Rihanna touched on relationships, her red hair being a sex symbol and much more.  One topic Rihanna was not open to dicussing was Chris Brown. Check out some interview snippets below.

Rihanna  on…

being hailed a ex symbol:
Every time I hear that it’s definitely flattering, but also uncomfortable. That’s not a priority on my list – being a sex symbol or being overly sexy. I’m just a normal woman. I don’t really focus on being a sex symbol.

other artists in the industry she’s competing with:

I never focus on who or what is at the top, because when people become better at what they do individually, it’s noticed. And that’s all I want to be: an artist who was known for growing constantly and becoming bigger and better.

It’s not about who’s better between Rihanna, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga. I’m more in competition with myself. I always challenge myself to do better next time. It doesn’t matter who’s at the top as long as I’m getting closer to that point every time. That’s all I care about.

why she chose to dye her hair red:
I think I was ready for something new and loud and expressive. It’s really adventurous – I wanted something that was fun, you know. I didn’t want a normal hair colour. I’d had blonde and it was so boring. Black is still my favourite, but I was looking for a colour that was edgy. I guess it was just the place I was in at that time. I felt like being spontaneous, and I also wanted to go for something extreme. I couldn’t do green or purple or pink, so red was like the fine line between normal and extreme!

moving on and forward with her  life:
I wanted people to move on from it, [because] the last big thing they know about me is that night. And I don’t want that to be what people define me as.

The interviewer did try to ask the starlet about her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown. Rihanna was not please with Brown being brought up and snapped at the reporter.

When asked about Brown, Rihanna initially said: “Excuse me?”

The interviewer didn’t get the hint and asked Rihanna about him again and this time Rihanna said a little bit more: “Next. You obviously want to talk about Chris Brown, I don’t.”

Let’s just say the interviewer got the point after that.
