Talk show host Wendy Williams announced today (Feb. 21) that she would be taking a hiatus from her show to focus on her health.
“My doctor has prescribed … are you ready? As of today, three weeks of vacation,” she told the audience. “What? Who are you? I was pissed.”
In October 2017, Williams made headlines when she fainted during a live episode of her talk show. Williams said the event was due to heat exhaustion. Since then, fans have noticed that Williams has been acting different.

Williams canceled several shows last week after announcing that she was experiencing flu-like symptoms.
“I’ll be back in two [weeks],” Williams joked during her show on Wednesday. “I’m not an heiress. Who is going to pay my bills? Are you serious? I’m just saying, I come from working class.”

Following a plethora of criticism, Fergie has apologized for her performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner”at the NBA All-Star Game this past Sunday (Feb 18).
“I’ve always been honored and proud to perform the national anthem and last night I wanted to try something special for the NBA,” she said in a statement acquired by PEOPLE. “I’m a risk taker artistically, but clearly this rendition didn’t strike the intended tone. I love this country and honestly tried my best.”
Fergie, 42, performed what many have now classified as a jazzy-sultry version of the anthem.
However, many of the players and on-lookers were confused by the arrangement. Many expected her to segue-way into a differ song altogether. The rendition was met with several players holding back laughter or just looking around perplexed by what was taking place.
Fergie has since disabled comments on her Instagram, where she was constantly being mocked by the masses.
Oprah Winfrey has been the topic of conversation ever since the Oscars a few weeks ago and now the entrepreneur is covering the March issue of The Wall Street Journal.
Though she has dismissed the potential for a 2020 presidential run, Oprah definitely has lots to talk about in this Women’s issue of the magazine.
On her new Disney film, “A Wrinkle in Time:
“One of the reasons I love ‘A Wrinkle in Time’ is because I get to play this grand, wise, angelic creature, and one of the things she says is, ‘The darkness is spreading so fast these days; the only thing that is faster than light is the darkness.’ I really do believe that we are going through some dark times, so you have to make a choice not to be pulled into it.”
On what she learned from the late Maya Angelou about being in your 50s: “There’s a quickening that happens, and your body, your hormones, everything is saying, ‘Hey, you don’t have as much time as you once had—let’s get on with it!’ You get to step into your true beauty, your true value, your true worth, without everyone else’s opinions and judgments of what you should be.”

Harry Connick Jr.’s syndicated daytime talk show has been cancelled after two seasons.
The show, titled “Harry,” is currently midway through its second season. New shows will continue to be taped and air until September.
“’Harry’ is ending its run after two seasons. Harry is a phenomenal talent and it’s been a great partnership working with the Fox Stations and other supportive groups on this truly unique show,” an NBCU TV Distribution spokesperson said in a statement.
The show originally had a two-year deal, so this cancellation isn’t a complete blow to Connick and it’s staff.
“I have truly loved doing this show and appreciate your welcoming me into your homes every single day. I’m incredibly proud of the show we produced over the past two seasons. We tried to create a safe place where families could gather to be entertained, uplifted and inspired and where we could celebrate everyday women who work hard to make our world a better place. I am truly grateful for the opportunity and will continue to find avenues to uplift our country,” Connick Jr. said in a statement.
But don’t feel too sad for Connick, as he has a major project coming up. He is set to star in “The Sting” next year, which is a new musical based on the movie. It will debut at New Jersey’s Paper Mill Playhouse.
